Salary: $100K -$110K

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Network Architect will be part of a team of IT architects and will represent the network/telecom team for the OAG-CSD Information Technology Department and will be expected to:

• Collaborate with product and other IT architects to understand customer needs and enable them with infrastructure technology architecture.
• Responsible for leading network infrastructure technical design and reviewing existing systems to ensure optimal and efficient performance of the networks supporting our applications, systems and environments to support future growth.
• Own network/telecom design responsibility with a customer-first mindset, alignment on OAG priorities, focused on operational effectiveness.
• Provide expert knowledge of routing/routed protocols (BGP/OSPF/EIGRP), VPN, firewalls, VoIP.
• Perform network diagramming of Firewalls, routers, switches, IPS, including connected devices and remote office connections.
• Support the implementation of cloud technologies and a thorough understanding of SAAS, PAAS, and IAAS models.
• Perform research of available products, solutions, and emerging technologies.
• Participate in review of products and secure solutions and provide recommendations for new technologies, security enhancements and purchases.
• Provide mentoring, training and knowledge transfer.
• Deliver effective verbal and written communication with all levels of customers/users within organization.
• Work with appropriate vendors and network team to configure network monitoring and troubleshooting tools and products.
